21st Namo Buddha Medicine Retreat at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha, Kathmandu

TDSPJ is pleased to announce we will be organising the 21st Namo Buddha Medicine Retreat at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha, Kathmandu. We hope to get 100 retreatants to join. The window dates is around 25th Nov to 15th Dec, 2018 to be fixed by Rinpoche. We plan to do a Puja after the retreat at Boudhanath Stupa, Boudha. The theme for the Puja is “Heal the World”

We will also be going for a day trip pilgrimage to Sherab Rinpoche monastery at Godawari, one of the holy sites of Vajrayogini. The retreat is a novitiate programme where Rinpoche allows those who wish to wear the monk robes be tonsured. This however is not compulsory but are expected to observe the 8 Precepts Vows.

The retreat fees at Namo Buddha is USD320 per pax which covers food, lodging and transport to and from the monastery. We shall advise at a later date the costs for the prayers and the pilgrimage. We hope devotees from other states in Malaysia and other countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Canada can join the trip. The respective president or chairman of centres in Malaysia or other countries shall do its own coordination to get devotees to join and to liaise with the organising committee at TDSPJ.
