26th Namo Buddha Retreat

26th Namo Buddha Retreat held at Vajra Vidya Monastery, Varanasi, India on 16th to 20th November, 2025.

The retreat is organised by Thrangu Dharma Society, Petaling Jaya, (TDSPJ) Malaysia yearly since 1997, except 2020 the year of Covid.

The retreat is a novice programme organised to give the opportunity to Devotees who is keen to take the robes and to tonsure. The retreat venue alternates between Vajra Vidya Monastery, Varanasi, India and Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha, Kathmandu, Nepal

Devotees from 15 different countries have participated in the series.

The retreat is led by Rev Lama Lodro Thaye, resident Lama of TDSPJ. All are welcome to join.
