Khempo Loesel and the monks will perform a 3 days puja called SHEL NYING DU DOK. This puja involves the continuous chanting of the Heart Sutra which is the essence of Prajna Paramitra Sutra.
This special puja will rid the sponsors of harmful forces and elements thus removing the karmic obstacles. The Heart Sutra holds a special position in the whole spectrum of sutras. Regular chanting increases our wisdom (prajna) and understanding of emptiness.
Sponsors for this puja are requested to put the items stated below into a small ” red packet ” and hand it to the center by Friday 18/9/09.

Thrangu Dharma Society Petaling Jaya has acquired a parcel of land measuring 15,000 sq ft in Damansara Perdana. The land is earmark to be used for religious purposes.
We had paid the land premium and are waiting for the authorities to issue the document of title. The Building Committee of TDSPJ has drawn the architectural plan for the future Monastery of TDSPJ. This Monastery will serve the community in Damansara Perdana and the surrounding area.
We are currently in the process of appointing architect to plan the submission of the new Monastery ad we are starting to launch a fund raising for the New Thrangu Monastery. Our Building Project is called ”Monastery Building Project”.
